In 2001, I started Signatures By Stephanie after realizing that there were many brides-to-be in the same position as me: working professionals with little time to spend running from store to store in search of the perfect wedding invitation.  Even more importantly, there had to be more helpful sales representatives who were willing to meet with me in a more personal atmosphere, convenient for me, where I could think about and discuss with them the details of my wedding invitation search.  I wanted a wedding invitation that was unique and inspired by my vision. 

So, my company was born. I started offering custom invitation designs as well as stock invitation designs to my friends and family while I planned my own wedding on New Year’s Eve 2001.   I found this hobby to be a great creative outlet for design and a much needed diversion from my corporate marketing career. I met with every customer in person along with fiancés, mothers, mother-in-laws, sisters, brothers, fathers, and friends.  I met with every customer at their convenience. We spent as much time as it took to create the perfect invitation.

After the birth of my first child in 2006, I didn’t want to drag my tired, overweight body from store to store to find baby announcements; I decided to expand to custom birth announcements as well.  Only a new mom can appreciate the flexibility and understanding of a company that can provide a baby swing, a burp rag and ease of scheduling when trying to pick out a birth announcement for the baby of their dreams.

After my second child was born in 2007, I decided to leave the corporate world and dedicate myself full time to this adventure. I purchased office space, hired staff, and began setting the tone of the business and gearing up for the expansion plans I had mapped out over the last six years.  With the expansion into corporate invitations, announcements, and personal stationery I feel the offering has evolved to meet the needs of our growing clientele.

I am now expecting my third child and know I made the right choice. I love going to work every day and enjoy working with brides to be, new moms, corporate meeting planners, and all people wishing to share their milestones with friends, family, and colleagues.

While my business expands and changes, the reasons my clients keep coming back to Signatures By Stephanie never change:
